Today began with homemade sausage from Lone Mound Ranch. Then we saw the famous “Cadillac Ranch” and made it past the halfway point between Chicago and Santa Monica before ending at Ute Lake state park in New Mexico.
On the way to Cadillac Ranch, there is a small attraction called “Slug Bug Ranch”. Halfway there!We’ve seen a few rainbows in NM and TX. This was right over our van.Then it became a double rainbow.Lightning over Ute Lake. Bill got it on the first try. (No, he didn’t)
