Today, after crossing the Continental Divide (where water flows to the Atlantic on one side and the Pacific on the other), we saw an iconic hotel called “El Rancho” where many Hollywood stars stayed for vacations and movie shoots. Then we began to see more of the classic features of the western US including the Painted Desert and the Petrified Forest National Park.
